Our staff are our most valuable asset. Excellent, well-trained and motivated staff underpin the quality of teaching, learning and student success rates. The College has invested over £250,000 in providing staff development programmes during the year.
Great care is taken to ensure that every member of staff has the skills necessary to carry out their role effectively and in the interests of students/customers. Teaching staff are professionally qualified in the subject they teach as well as being qualified teachers.

Staff
As an Investor in People, the College is recognised as a quality provider of staff training and development. Our Student Services team were awarded a national Matrix quality award for the standard of their information, advice and guidance, just one of our staff achievements in 2004. The Matrix quality award was later achieved by the Employer Engagement Unit in 2008, who also achieved the Training Quality Standard (TQS) in 2008.
