Student Finance Services
*STILL AVAILABLE FOR 2011/12*
The Student Finance Team are here to advise you on what financial support may be available to help you complete your studies here at the College. Some courses may have additional course related costs and you may be eligible for financial support with these. Whether you are living with your family or independently, if your household income is low you can apply for financial support from one of our support funds.
16-18 Bursary -
The College offers a guaranteed Bursary of up to £1,200 for learners aged 16-18 who are in care, have left care, are in receipt of income support or learners with disabilities who are also in receipt of Employment Support Allowance and Disability Living Allowance.
16-18 Discretionary Support Fund -
The College has a Support Fund available to learners aged 16-18 who require financial assistance with the various costs (e.g. kit/uniform, stationery, travel) involved in full-time education and training. Eligibility for this fund is based on household income.
19+ Discretionary Support Fund -
We also have a Support Fund available for learners aged 19 or over who require financial assistance with the various costs (e.g. kit/uniform, stationery, travel, childcare, fees) involved in full or part-time education and training. Eligibility for this fund is based on household income.
