The Student Finance Team can advise you on what financial support is available to help you complete and succeed on your course here at College. Some courses may have additional course-related costs such as uniform and equipment, or you may need help with transport or childcare.
Whether you are living with your family/guardians or independently, you may be eligible for financial support. If you are worried about any financial issues related to your College course please do come down to the Learner Hub to have an informal chat about your circumstances and we will always try and help!

If at any time in the year you would benefit from some additional financial support whilst you are studying with us, please come and have a chat with the friendly Student Finance Team. You may be eligible for support and don't know it – so please come and talk to us!

FUNDING AVAILABLE FOR 2012/13
16-19 BURSARY FUND:

The 16-19 Bursary Fund is available to Burton and South Derbyshire College learners aged between 16 and 18 years old on 31 August 2012 who require specific financial help in order to access education and ensure they can complete and succeed on their course.

DISCRETIONARY LEARNER SUPPORT (DLS):

DLS is available to Burton and South Derbyshire College learners aged 19 or over on 31 August 2012 who require specific financial help in order to access education and ensure they can complete and succeed.
