About the Service

The Butrton College Workshop is designed to help people get back into work regardless of how long they have been unemployed or even if they are facing redundancy.

The Workshop exists to offer encouragement, advice and support, individually tailored to suit a person's needs, from assisting with the preparation of CVs and job searching to interview and skills training.

We treat everyone as an individual and assess their needs. We understand that everyone has different requirements, so can put together a tailored package suited to the individual.

Our advice, support and training service to help get you back into work is FREE.

Help and Support

We have a number of experienced staff on hand who are able to offer a high level of assistance, help, encouragement and mentoring. In addition, we are working closely with local employers to help them to fill their skills gaps, which mean that we are in a unique position in being able to match people to vacancies.

As a college, we are ideally placed to offer a wide range of training at a variety of levels to assist people to gain the skills needed.
